AIRCON OFF AC-14 WIRELESS AUXILIARY MOVEMENT SENSOR
The Auxiliary Movement Sensor is a wireless unit that will detect occupancy & then communicate with the main AC-14 unit. The Auxiliary Movement Sensor is able to monitor areas of a room which are not covered by the onboard Sensor in the AC-14 such as large rooms or an ‘L’ shaped rooms.
(The onboard/built in AC-14 sensor has a 100-120° field of vision and will detect movement up to a distance of approx. 8 metres.)
The Auxiliary Movement Sensor has a detection field of 120 deg x 20 deg which is normally described as a curtain sensor.
The detection range of the Auxiliary Movement Sensor is up to 10 metres.
For general use it should be fitted horizontally on the wall, approximately 1-1.2 metres from the floor (above general furniture height)
The sensor can be fitted to cover areas not 'seen' by the onboard AC-14 sensor or to a ceiling to give a “curtain coverage” of a door entrance.
The Auxiliary Sensor's "Movement indicator light" is automatically switched off for general use but can be easily activated for testing purposes.
Only 1 additional Auxiliary Movement Sensor can be paired with each AC-14 unit.
Battery life is equivalent to 50 detected movements per day for approx.. 3 years.
